Design Studio II: High-Rise Steel building.

The main objective of the project is to analyze and design the given G+12 steel commercial building subjected to gravity and lateral loads as per codal provision.Design without using separation joint. Prepare 3D model and apply lateral loads. Study the behavior of building in terms of torsion & drift due to lateral loads. Design using only shear connection. Provide recommendation to reduce the effect of irregularities in building and adopt one. Advantages of not using separation joint in the provided architectural layout.
