The objective behind the development of the Grand Memorial of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, is to develop a public space in the memory of this great personality and leader who was as Indian nationalist, jurist, father of the Indian Constitution and a Buddhist revivalist, spent his whole life fighting against social discrimination which led millions of the oppressed to a life of self-respect, dignity and responsibility. The memorial will be a tribute to all the remarkable works done by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for equality and social justice and should form a landmark in itself for the Mumbai city.
