National highway Authority Of India on behalf of Government of Gujarat, intends to develop National Highway No.8 section of Shamlaji-Chiloda as six lane divided facility. Currently the highway is four lane and being tolled by NHAI.The project corridor Project Road is a section constitutes to National Highway ;NH 8. The project road starts at existing 401+200 KM near Shamlaji and ends at existing 494+400 KM near Chiloda. Total existing length is approx. 93.210KM.Project road traverses adjacent to many villages and cities. The major cities from where the project is passing are Shamlaji,Gamboi,Himatnagar,Salal,Prantij,Chiloda.
