The Studio started by introducing the need for documentation and progressed by explaining the need for analysis, the study of materials. Moving ahead the studio highlighted the need for understanding structural elements of a site and also explained the ways to deal with challenges in structural conservation. Through key texts, the studio explained various philosophies in the field of conservation, and through ethics, it explained the methods to be adopted while dealing with a heritage site and also the important process to be followed while drafting a document.
