The Realm: A New Market Street (Old Dorms Cluster)

This project explores the realm between public and private spaces. The context being the Old Dorms Cluster designed by Ar. Louis I Kahn, in the 1960s. The 15 dorms (and 3 more)  sit in a repetitive checkerboard pattern, failing to responding edge conditions.

Interventions to the same have been proposed in 4 parts:
Part A - Typical Dorm Layout;
Part B - The Village street and the New East-West Connection;
Part C - The New Market Street;
Part D - Cafe - A Design Charette.
