Each design in the following three-stage module catered to varied inhabitation patterns and changing contexts. On understanding the concepts of solitude, intimacy and congregation, what began as a secret place in a 6m deep underground pit transformed into a childhood home for my family and me. This new childhood home further emerged out of the pit to meet the neighbourhood and the house expanded into a cafe and cooking workshop for the community. Engaging with body and memory and analyzing its influence on architecture, the design process was fueled by reassociating with memories, critical analysis and diverse iterations.
