Sea Haven

Sea Haven, Mangalore, is a residence and studio designed for an architect, his family and six employees. The main concern was to create a space that would respond to Mangalore's hot and humid climate. The primary strategies used were designing a wind catching form that maximised ventilation across the building and creating deep verandahs and balconies that acted as buffer spaces to the interiors.
