Figuring the architectural history of Lucknow

The first module of the studio had two parts, the first entails an inquiry and presentation of the palimpsestic nature of Lucknow’s architectural history in the form of palimpsestic historiographical map based on the archives and formal material available. In the next part of this module, we attempt to dive deeper into the city’s history through the untold stories of St.Mungo's Church by decoding the building as an archive of itself. The second module which is the last segment of the studio focuses on content creation for a public engagement project that memorializes important events of the history of Lucknow.
