Foundation Studio Documentation & Analysis

Lodhi Gardens, New Delhi - Mosque & Gateway. Structures belong to the Mughal era, but are today in a dilapidated condition, with meagre efforts to restore them by ASI and INTACH. Public is misusing them with scant regard to their historical significance and stand isolated amongst the other Lodhi Garden monuments. I wanted to highlight the cultural, historical and conservative significance of these beautiful structures which have great potential to be developed as attractive tourist and cultural spots, especially in view of the surrounding rose garden and vicinity to institutions like Ford Foundation and India International Centre.
