Core to Buffer

Southern tropical dry deciduous forest , Northern deccan plateau, Tadoba andhari tiger reserveThe study is aimed at unravelling the existence of the Asiatic wild dog in the highly modified and fragmented grasslands of Tadoba andhari tiger reserve (Southern tropical dry deciduous forest, Northern deccan plateau). Ideally these grasslands were connecting link between two forests but now are connecting link between core forest and agriculture. The journey of the Asiatic wild dog from core to buffer makes the contrast evident in the grassland system.
