Experiencing the ephemeral abundance

Southern moist deciduous forest (Foothills of Satpura range, Northern western ghats,Vansda national park) forms a contiguous tract with the dang region of Gujarat which is a part of Deccan trap with rugged and terraced topography having flat topped conical hills, small plateau and steep sided narrow valleys. The forest cover undergoes a drastic change from the monsoon to summer as a result patches of abundant flora grab the attention of the seeker. The project aimed at understanding and investigating the settings of these ephemeral (Seasonal) abundant patches of flora observed during the wet and dry season within the forest system.
