Expanse of the Doons

Moist Deciduous Forest (Sal Mixed Moist Deciduous-Riverine Forest-Scrubland-Moist Tropical Forest) Jim Corbett National Park

The study started by understanding the larger system, which is the Doon valley with its unique geomorphic components. The idea is to acknowledge this larger system and understand the interdependence of its various components. This interdependency of every component is important for the whole ecosystem and the absence of any of these components will affect the entire network. The grasslands of the forest are the most vulnerable of the entire ecosystem. The journey through the forest thus narrates the various conditions of the grasslands through narrow valleys and finally discovering the diversity which the Doons holds within.
