Collage school | Khadia Ward Shala

Through architectural strategies and the usage of space syntax developed at the Bartlett UCL, the aim was to transform an existing low-cost school in Ahmedabad which can support pedagogical innovation and improve students’ experiences. Contingencies were layered on a weekly basis to execute the same. This project primarily focuses on the implementation of a Montessori pedagogy, along with a radical ecological agenda to ensure social sustainability through continuous participation from the users on a seasonal as well as a daily basis.
