The project is a cluster of four residential apartment modules for the family of the textiles artists. a combination of load bearing exposed brick walls and exposed RCC pavilion like balconies and porch make one module. The dimensions of this module are arrived from that of the existing unit itself. The clustering of the modules is done so as to achieve a courtyard space with seating. The programmatic spaces have been distributed across two levels based on active and repose characteristics. The language of the wall and pavilion has been infused with the existing to create for a rustic and cozy environment.
