A CASE OF TIME-BASED MORPHOLOGY

THIS PROJECT ENVISIONS A POST-INDUSTRIAL RUIN - HASHIMA ISLAND IN JAPAN, WILL STILL BE FUNCTIONAL WITH DESIGN INTERVENTION, CONTEMPORARY PRESERVATION AND ENHANCED SPATIAL CONDITIONS BY ENCODING CERTAIN SYMBOLIC AND PRAGMATIC SENSE.
FORTY YEARS AFTER THE PEOPLE HAVE ABANDONED THE ISLAND, THE RESIDENCES, OFFICES AND FACTORIES ARE CRACKING AND SUBSIDING AS IF NATURE HAS TAKEN OVER.
AN IDEAL EXAMPLE OF THE DESENSITISING HUMAN-NATURE RELATIONSHIP.HENCE, A MEMORIAL-TYPE SPACE WHICH AIMS TO ASSIST AN PROGRESSING CAUSE, RATHER THAN USUAL TRAJECTORY OF EXTINCT GENESIS, ENUMERATING DENOTABLE NUANCE.
