Towards a self-sustainable neighborhood

Developing a brief for a project that can reinvigorate the backyard-ed Irla Nala in Mumbai's dense urban context, we worked closely with our tutors Nimit, Prateek and TA Bageshri. The questions I have specifically tried to address are : How can Urban farming enhance the quality of space while not remaining an add-on but emerge integral to the structuring logic of a workplace and its adjacencies? How can it create thresholds? How can the project bridge two parallel urban edges?
