Abstraction: Tectonics: Forms

This project intends to investigate into 'processes' in architectural
design activity. One of the important components in that is the
process of transformation through different levels of interpretation.

The process of transformation involves metamorphosis of the expe-
riential data into architectural form and space with the help of ab-
straction. Students will be given an image/natural object as a starting
point of the process, and through various stages of design process
students will arrive at final architectural form.

The project will be di-
vided into two parts: first part involves developing abstract ideas
from the topic, and the second part will focus on ‘tectonics’; convert-
ing one of the abstract ideas into a built-form.
