TIPAEE - A CAMPING STOOL

Tipaee is a lightweight, portable and temporary stool having sustainable and artisanal expressions of bamboo.  The form of the product is derived after doing numerous load tests with different materials. The intention was to celebrate the joinery majorly the pivot joints which are the focal joints in the project.
The project emphasizes how the waste generated in making the stool is used to make various components of the stool. The leg end-caps and center component are made out of bamboo dust and adhesive and impart structural properties similar to wood.
