Rise up  Platform Furniture system is a Trsanformable platform system designed to be deployable, mechanically operable and weight-bearing, taking the weight of approximately 6 people or more at a single time. This furniture system can be expanded and contracted as per requirement. This platform system is catering to people who get trapped inside during flash floods in Guwahati. Using  scissor mechanism, this system achieves height by rising up and keeping people safe from floodwater accumulated inside causing uncomfortable situations.  This system can be used in any space  and can be used in the form of sitting with deployment ratio of1:2.
