Self Shading Facade system

The Studio leads us through three exercises, where we find ourselves working on developing systems based on form evolution, Translation of natural systems and solving city-level environmental issues with a responsive interior architectural solution. The development of a primary facade skin for the city of Ahmedabad involves form and global curvature development from a self-shading module, where the curvature responds to the deciphered fitness criteria of minimizing solar radiation and Optimizing daylight in the office interiors. The Module has evolved from a deviated surface to a globally curved system.  The Curvature statistically placed optimizes the criteria based on the function
