The Glacial Hive | CEPT

Summarising Gaston Bachelard's idea of an oneiric home from the book 'Poetics of Space', A dwelling has been designed inspired by the hive of the arctic bumblebee and the challenging landscape of the frozen winterland. The shelter has been created using ice, rock and rudimentary tools with the ability to enhance the enchanting play of the aurora borealis and sunlight in most of its spaces.
