The project ‘Aarogyam’ stands within the labour colony of a construction site named Cloud 9 located in Nehru Nagar, Ahmedabad. It is a one-stop medical facility for everyone in the labour community. The project aims at providing and supporting better health within the construction site. The idea behind ‘Aarogyam’ is to provide immediate relief and care for labours. By integrating a medical facility within the community space, healthcare can be delivered safely, effectively, and quickly. It comprises of Primary Healthcare, Emergency Treatment, and Pediatrics. Aarogyam hopes to get rid of the discomfort created by medical space through the vibrant and engaging space design. The design of the project aims at generating a sense of belongingness within the labours and creating a very warm and friendly medical space.
