The project ‘CHULHA’ stands within the labour colony of construction site 'Cloud 9' located in Nehru Nagar, Ahmedabad.
Chulha is a food and retail initiative led by women living in the Cloud 9 labour colony. The idea behind the project is to provide a space for these women where they can generate additional revenue by selling their traditional food items. The space is designed considering the vibrance and liveliness of the community including very basic design elements.
