Unfolding Series of Performances -A Sensorial Experience

Originating from the Indian sub context, step wells are wells or ponds in which the water is reach by descending a set of steps. With time we have started to forget these places and once for all they all will be diminished. The concept was to relive these spaces in a modern way keeping the concept intact and developing it further. As the proposal it is best suited to portray and appreciate the art, culture and water in the space. This can be achieved by making it into a Performing Arts Centre distributing it into 3 major aspects: - Human interaction – Haptics, Performances, Sensorial zones related to water. All 3 aspects weaved together in one thread to increase the experience of the space. Interactive performance spaces celebrating water and steps along with modern touch of technology through dance, musicals, and light water musical shows – Unfolding the series of performances in space.
