Mehraab : Home Stay

Designing a hotel in the heart of the old city, we took up an abandoned colonial building which earlier served as a school. The exposed brick work and beautiful arches in the façade served as inspiration. The adaptive re-use of this building into a long stay hotel where people would spend 2-3 weeks was based on factors like accessibility and the scale of the site. It is a place for businessmen, travelers or young students looking for a home-away-from-home. Equipped for conferences, events, private or group gatherings there are inviting spaces throughout, that make the guests feel at home.
