A Tiruva: Reminiscence of Tropical Dwelling

Tiruva, a traveler's abode is the foreground to the beautiful backdrop of the valley and stream of Sigiriya, Sri Lanka. Tiruva is a shelter for young art enthusiasts willing to experience nature firsthand in everyday activities and seek inspiration from it. To allow experiencing nature at its best, columns have been used to open the space up while also giving a nostalgic feel of traditional Sri Lankan homes and their sense of space. Existing on- site elements as fragments of nature within-play a major role in shaping the movement and planning of spaces.
