The study focuses on the Service Operations Management of the City Civic Centers (CCCs) in Ahmedabad. The CCCs are a network of buildings that facilitate municipal services to its citizens. The existing service operations of the CCCs were studied and analyzed, through which gap areas have been identified under five verticals. For the “Human Resource” vertical, the proposals are oriented towards smooth functioning, coordination, and capacity building of existing employees, rather than recruiting new staff, which would improve employee satisfaction, the efficiency of overall service delivery, and customer experience.
