WASH Behaviors: Towards a Systemic Change in Ahmedabad

This project emerges from the city's lacklustre commitment towards addressing behavioural issues that have contributed to qualitative gaps in WASH infrastructure and service delivery. The study on WASH behaviours and behaviour change communication (BCC) in Ahmedabad led to three outputs. These would support the stakeholders involved, especially the ULB in actively contributing to BCC in Ahmedabad. Thus the project emphasizes the need and strengthens BCC for improved and sustained usage of WASH facilities, especially among the vulnerable groups in the city of Ahmedabad.
