Urban design operates as an interdisciplinary bridge among related professional design disciplines of the built environment. As the entry point into urban design, this studio focuses on the shared foundations of these allied professions, with an aim to build skills in observation, critical thinking, representation, and spatial analysis. The city and its environment is the core of the inquiry.
