A heterogeneous land parcel in CTM, Amraiwadi

CTM lies towards the south eastern part of the city. Cotton textile mills, steel industries, cement factories, ceramic units and commercial stores brought with them jobs for many people. Its overall composition includes commercial, residential, institutional, religious and industrial units, thus making it a heterogeneous block and eventually leading to a high population density. The parameters which showcase this heterogeneity are studied here. It can be observed in various levels of lives and lifestyle of not only its public but also in various life less elements like building use, land use, street connectivity, distribution of jobs and service supply.
