Adapting to a Low-End Dense Suburbia

Lying in the suburbs along the North-Western side of the city Ahmedabad, is the study area, Chandkheda and Kali-Chenpur region. This precinct is of area 1 square meter and is a high-density residential area which has been growing from the early ’90s. The location of the precinct being away from the Central Business District like Ashram Road has made the region affordable to many which thas also contributed to the high built density of the region. Although this region is very populated, the people adapt to the change and with only a few basic amenities present they live their day to day life trying to make the most of it.
