Urbanization and Liberalization have been driving factors in the evolution of the country in the last few decades and have had imperative effects on Thaltej as well. For last two decades the Precinct has changed significantly in terms of infrastructure, job market, and topographic. With heavy migration, the area has densified and developed economically. The study focuses on understanding these concepts in the context of Thaltej, by analyzing several morphological layers of the precinct. It further justifies that rapid development has led to adverse and unfavorable outcomes as well.
