GIDC led to the establishment of many small scale industries in the vicinity, created employment opportunities, attracted people to settle near to their workplace to reduce their distance to work and save money, time and energy.Due to the presence of GIDC, Odhav has a strong establishment of small and large scale Industries. A significantly high workforce is engaged in industrial activities in the precinct. It’s a major contributor to the economy of the area.
