The studied area was located in sola-thaltej, on the western periphery of Ahmedabad along with Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway. This square kilometer suburb precinct is now a developing urban area after the redevelopment of S.G. Highway as a transport corridor. About the history of the precinct, Thaltej area is more developed than Sola. Thaltej is a pre-dominant residential area where majority semi-detached and detached bungalows are built and Sola is developing area after implementing the T.P scheme.
