Chandkheda: Housing stock of Ahmedabad

This portfolio is the understanding of the 1 sq. km precinct situated in Chandkheda. The area is on western side of Sabarmati and in the northwestern fringe of Ahmedabad. The precinct observed a great deal of development when IOC and ONGC established their base in the area. There was also a landuse change and the area became a hotspot residential area from a Farmland. The Portfolio comments on the livability of the precinct and how in current date Chandkheda acts as a housing supply for the economic centers in Ahmedabad.
