Coexisting Diverse Residential Settlements

Delhi is one of the most populated metro cities and has transformed in terms of physical, social, and economical aspects. This portfolio is a part of Understanding the City Studio, CEPT University that examines the transformation of 1 sqkm area of Hauz Khas, Aurobindo Marg, Delhi based on the growth of various residential typologies and how the physical urban character has evolved for different typologies. To understand this transition for various residential typologies the parameters that were examined are floor space index, property prices, the emergence of commercialization, publicness of open green spaces, and efficiency of local streets. This analysis is done comparing the above parameters for two different residential typologies.
