The study conducts a thorough examination of Akhbar Nagar in order to comprehend its development pattern and potential as a residential neighborhood. The neighborhood has undergone several infrastructure development and policy interventions in last 2 decades but the majority of built form remain static. In this the focus is on highlighting the potential of Akhbar Nagar’s urban transformation, while stating the reason of its delay by understanding the transformation pattern of public housing.
