Laxmipura is a low income Industrial area which over time has served to the 3 big GIDCs especially Naroda due to it’s close proximity, the area has a lot of small industrial clusters with multiple stacked together MSME units. The major concern while studying the area was that how neglected or disconnected it is from the city. Each and every part of the city should be equally accessible in terms of infrastructure services, transportation services and job opportunities. Laxmipura only depends on low income MSME industries which is a drawback in terms of various opportunities and options which the city provides. The portfolio highlights how Laxmipura is disconnected and neglected from Ahmedabad in different aspects .
