The Rurban Settlement of Kottayam

The project explores different factors which stand out Kottayam, from other towns and cities in the country. Factors like occupational structure, housing typology, Economic status, Connectivity, etc are promoting the Urban-Rural Continuum (URC) in the region. It is the merging of town and country, with no clear boundary or city extends. Here in this project, we explore how URC is visible in Kottayam to its regional extends.
