Transit-Oriented Development: Changing Urban Structure

The study is done to understand Transit-Oriented Development from the lens of the 1 sq.km. area of Janakpuri, New Delhi. The research is carried out as a part of the “Understanding the City” studio by observing and mapping urban structure using a Network– Activity– Human model and to see how different Indian cities respond to this model. The model is used to identify the potential of TOD and its impact on network structure, land use patterns, and the choices people make.
