The portfolio analyses the diverse urban fabric of Usmanpura, Ahmedabad. The study focuses on 1 Sq km area. Usmanpura has heterogeneous development. This study is about parameters forming this diversity. Diverse neighborhoods within the city help to make the city more inclusive. Socio-economic factors and lifestyles of people are interdependent. People living in mixed-use neighborhoods can easily adapt to new things. Heterogeneous built form creates the availability of housing choices for all people from various economic and social backgrounds.
