The Urban Expansion and Regeneration Planning Studio, Monsoon 2021, worked on local area planning for Mumbai's Worli and Lower Parel areas. The study began with a scenario analysis and progressed to the identification of the site's strengths, issues, and opportunities. The LAP was developed with the goal of "Transforming Worli & Lower Parel into a Well-Connected High-Intensity & Affordable Neighborhood through Transit Oriented Development Responding to the Future Development Potential Facilitated by Multimodal Integration," based on the findings of the studies. Supporting interventions and mechanisms for implementation were defined.
