The portfolio is a compilation of semester long studio work focusing on drafting a heritage local area plan proposal for Sankdi Sheri Area, in the Historic Walled City of Ahmedabad.
As a group of four, the proposal was built over four iterations. Initiating the project with the AMC heritage walk to understand the vibe of the walled city, we later proceeded to document the site through pictures, maps and stakeholder consultations. These formed a base for deriving concept and vision for the Sankdi Sheri area, from which we began developing proposals for the local area plan.
