Pakwan Art Gallery

Considering the vulnerabilities on site with respect to the spatial and social compositions, use of land and occurrence of activities, we know that the life of dwellers isn’t easy and they are subject to atrocities in times like the pandemic. They were the worst hit by covid as they lost all livelihood and struggled to manage daily meals. The project ‘Pakwan Art Gallery’ aims to provide a space to these vendors where they can leverage their skillset and earn for the family. It also encourages women to indulge in activities of their interest and provide the dwellers an interactive space.
