Connected Living: Bridge of Life

The project "Connected Living: Bridge of Life" aims to look at the land used for agriculture as sacred and thus bring in the concept of vertical infrastructure. It focuses on developing structures that complements the natural ecology of the site and it's natural characteristics of the land. The main concept of the proposal "Bridge of life" is that imagining the aqueduct that brings water to the city as a public bridge which sets the view of the observer on the bridge to different parts of the bridge and the surrounding landscape of the Rajgir hills and to have the constant visual connectivity to the agriculture life of Rajgir throughout the different spaces of live, work and leisure. To minimize the space on land for the urban development using the said kind of infrastructure to then maintain a relationship and create experiences between the urbanization and the ecology of the site is the overall idea.
