Deployable Structures: Concepts and Exploration

In this studio we explored many deployable structures. A deployable structure is a structure that can change it's shape, to significantly change its size. This studio helped us to solve structural problems. Hence, I was very interested in making Deployable structure in a roof I designed a Structure, when it is deployed it can provide light and when it is undeployed it does not allow light or air to enter and I planned to place that in roof. This studio helped us to learn many software's like Sketch up, Rhino, Staad pro and some rendering software.
