GIS FOUNDATION STUDIO: A study on SBA for Jamalpur ward

This course introduces the fundamental theories of GI Science and practices of a Geographic Information System, using study based methodology. The theme for the Studio Project is the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’. The studio project focuses on one of its major aspects of solid waste management and involves analyzing the existing scenario in JAMALPUR ward through Geo spatial techniques. The emphasis is on understanding concepts in GIS ,Mapping and Pattern Analysis. All the data are combined as shape files and analysis is done and is supported by surveys conducted on field. Inferences are made after this.
