GIS FOUNDATION STUDIO-Swachh Bharat Abhiyan-Shahpur Ward

This course introduces the fundamental theories of GI Science and practices of a Geographic Information System, using study based methodology. The theme for the Studio Project is the ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan’, which emphasis on understanding concepts in GIS, Mapping and Pattern Analysis. It aims: To identify, map and analyze patterns of informal dumpsites in various wards of Ahmedabad with a major focus on the social behavior and their responsibilities for successful implementation of the SBA. 21 wards of Ahmedabad (Zones: Central, South, South-West, North-West) were chosen. Here, I have presented some insights on SHAHPUR WARD situated in CENTRAL ZONE.
