With the increase in globalization seen over the past few decades has given rise to large cities and this in turn caused the migration from rural to urban. This urbanization will give change to the conversion of land to built-up which can be unplanned and unsustainable. By modelling the change in LULC and quantifying it will help reduce the harmful effects of urban sprawl on the environment.
