As a case study, SARAL ALTEZZA- a place signifying mixed usage of both the residential and commercial habitat, perched on the Visat- Gandhinagar highway, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat was selected to design all the MEPF services- Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire fighting keeping in mind various Indian and international standards, performing calculations to ensure accuracy, attending expert lectures for guidance, and participating in class discussions. AutoCAD drawings for respective heads were also prepared with an addition of a Revit-based BIM model which was carried out with the help of Revit 2020, that contributed to visualize the project in real time, to achieve clash-free designs and ensure the best coordination between all four services, including the architectural and structural model. BIM even aided in the creation of quantity take-off sheets for the project's material calculations.
